119th Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival kicks off with the Opening Gala Friday night with Wine Tasting of over 50 local wineries, Food and Live Music.

These specially priced tickets are for the Opening Gala, Friday night! There is nothing better than sharing a glass of wine with friends, tasting some fine Sonoma Cuisine, and dancing under the stars. All of this happens at the Friday night Opening Gala in the historic Sonoma Barracks. Live music, over 50 wineries pouring their best varietals, food tastings by Sonoma Valley restaurants, specialty shops and caterers all to enjoy at your leisure. Not only is Gala Night about food, wine and great entertainment, but like the Vintage Festival itself, it is about celebration! This is a local Sonoma tradition that you don't want to miss!

Notorious to headline the 2016 Gala

This band is the real deal, and has rocked the house for big names like Cisco, Yahoo, YouTube, and the giant halls in Vegas; plus ballrooms, clubs, and amphitheaters all across the USA… They are also the back up band for 80’s giants like Vince Neil of Motley Crüe, Howard Jones, Curt Smith of Tears for Fears, and Tone Loc. The musicianship of this band is impeccable, and includes incredible singers that rock! Costume Contest 

Come dressed to this years theme, “The Grape Gatsby” and win tickets to next years Gala. Winners will be chosen during the band break.

Silent Auction & Wine Vault This year’s silent auction will be the best ever with many items to bid on. Proceeds from the auction will benefit local Sonoma Valley non-profits so check out the auction when you arrive. The Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival Wine Vault Key auction item is back! For $20.00 you can purchase a unique key and try your luck at opening the wine vault lock to win the entire contents of the Wine Vault. This year’s wine vault contains 18 specialty wines (value over $500) from world renowned Sonoma Valley wineries. Purchase your wine vault key at the Gala, but a limited amount of keys are available, so get your wine vault key before they sell out. 

Doors open at 6pm for ticket holders. Please note that tickets to the opening night gala will be sold at the door beginning at 6:30 pm the night of the event. The cost for a walk up ticket at the door is $100.

Enjoy more Wine Tasting, Food and Live Music all weekend long. Saturday and Sunday enjoy over 80 Art Booths in the Sonoma Plaza and join in at the Kids, Family, or Business Benefit Grape Stomp. Teams of 2 will stomp it out for the Grand Prize! Sunday participate in the 5K or 12K Race followed by the Grape STOMPede. Stay for the "Get Your Glow On" Night parade Saturday night.
