33RD Annual Summer Festival and Chili Cook-off
Friday, July 4th at Mitchell Park
600 East Meadow Dr.
12-5pm (Chili tasting starts at 1:30pm)The tradition continues as we celebrate Independence Day at the Palo Alto Summer Festival & Chili Cook-off. Attracting thousands of sun and chili lovers, the festival embraces ev¬erything wonderful about summer. Taste an array of red-hot chili delicacies prepared by teams of chefs battling for the chili championship. Live music, dancing, children’s activities, food vendors, and more will take place from 12 to 5pm. Chili tasting starts at 1:30pm. Admission is free. Tasting kits will be sold for a nominal fee. Can your chili recipe stand the heat of competition? This year’s Chili Cook-off is the perfect chance to try it out. Awards will be presented for best booth, best spirit and best chili.
