Tasting schedule is 12:30, 2:00, and 3:30 and will offer glimpses into 2011 vintages of Livermore Touriga Nacional, Livermore Tempranillo, Lodi Tempranillo, and Cabernet Sauvignon from Ghielmetti Vineyards.  There will also be an introduction to the first-ever True White!

True White is meant to be a companion wine to True Red as it is a blended non-vintage white wine.  It is a blend of mostly Verdelho and Riesling with Chardonnay, Semillon, and Pinot Gris added.  Touriga Nacional is generally considered to be the best wine grape grown in Portugal.  Previously we had produced Touriga from Lodi, but now we are also making it from a local vineyard (Raboli) off Mines Road.  The Lodi Touriga is a blend of Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca.  You will be able to compare two Tempranillos, one from Livermore Valley and one from Silvaspoons Vineyards in the Lodi area.  The Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Ghielmetti Vineyard on Reuss Road off Tesla Road.  They have several clones of Cabernet planted there, and this is Clone 30.
