Tamarine

For me, Tamarine is the eye of the storm in the heart of Silicon Valley. Each time I walk through the draped doorway I feel transported to a place of delightful tastes, textures, sights and sounds wrapped in a cozy blanket of energetic calm.
During my many visits I have been surrounded by couples on dates, families celebrating special occasions and the ubiquitous power dinner where ideas are pitched and hopefully funded.
As much as I enjoy the ambiance, it is the food that keeps me coming back. I love small plates and interesting flavors and you will find both at Tamarine. My favorite plates are the salt and pepper calamari, tuna tartare, shaking beef, hoisin lamp chops and the empress rice. And if it is on the menu do not miss the butterscotch pot de creme!
